It was a great privilege to see the master employ his trade on many occasions, Pat was the Jockey i used to look out for, as he always gave his ability, judgement and skill the ultimate test when race riding. My first ever wager i had was on Detroit winning the Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe in 1980.
